Personal Background

Since coming to Canada in 1977 I have worked in a variety of positions in the micro computer industry, including sales, management, training, and operations. I have consulted for a number of clients in small and medium size companies in management strategies and marketing. I have held several short term positions as counselor, freelance photographer, and in a variety of labourer positions in my school years.

My preference is to work alongside others, participating in strategic decisions, working toward measurable objectives. I perform well under stress, and show a lot of creativity in implementing ideas or programs. I am a resilient self starter, I appreciate a lot of feedback, and I can resist a great deal of distraction. I can sustain fast pace for extended periods of time, and I am a very fast learner. I have the ability to absorb large quantities of information fast and develop strategic objectives well before reaching for tactical solutions. My needs include stimulation and learning, independence, autonomy, achievement and rewards, variety, expression, and acceptance.

Interests

Music:

Played in amateur bands. Still enjoy playing guitar and piano.

Photography: Have a large collection of mostly nature slides and black and white prints.
Nutrition: Living a wellness oriented lifestyle. Well read in most topics.
Psychology: Trained in NLP, studying the principles of achievement, influence, and success. Skilled with Personal Styles indicators, Myers-Briggs, and others.
