Martin PytelaPersonal Interests |
I have had a fairly broad range of interests. I have kept both the technical and the spiritual realms in the forefront of my interests. I spent a great deal of time in the areas of personal development, philosophy, and spirituality. My technical interests have lead me into research of Alternative Energy Sources, Energetic Medicine and Diagnostics, Radionics and Alchemy. My formal education at the Institute of Economics in Prague lead to a life-long interest in the underlying causes of societal trends, including the Elliott Wave, Kondratieff, Delta Theory and other market predicting and timing theories. I worked at learning about Futures Trading and am planning to apply this understanding of the technical aspects of the markets in practice some day soon. I have worked extensively in the following areas: Photography, since childhood, developing his own negatives and printing his own prints. Worked as a Freelance Photographer, selling portraits, action shots, and landscapes. Taught Introduction to Photography at the Parks and Recreation to adults. Some of the work is on display. Yoga, for over twenty years, first learning from books, and later studying with several teachers, most notably with Sandra Sammartino. I taught Yoga at the Parks and Recreation adult programs for several seasons. Hypnosis and Meditation, studied and trained with the Blackwell Institute as a Clinical Hypnotherapist, working with clients on personal changes. Practising eastern meditation, studying Tao, Gita, and A Course In Miracles. Nutrition, for more then ten years. Read many scientific papers and books, and settled to practice Natural Hygiene, recently re-introduced as Fit For Life by Harvey and Marilyn Diamond. Used and tested many novel nutritional products.Iridology, a diagnostic tool for managing personal health, using materials written by Bernard Jensen. Homeopathy, using it to treat most common ailments, rather then the more common drug approach. Alternative Medicine, working on ridding myself of common stress and environment induced problems I worked with Chiropractic, Rolfing, Accupuncture, Kinesiology, Brain Gym, Edu-K, Cranio-Sacral Therapy, Physiology, Bee Venom Therapy, Naturopathy, McKenzie and Brown techniques, and more. Psychology, having read many books and listened to many tapes, he has a solid understanding of the process of personal communication. He is a practitioner of Neuro Linguistic Programming and a skilled user of Personal Style Indicators. Favourite authors include Stephen Covey, Anthony Robbins, Napoleon Hill, Wayne Dyer. Astrology, developing a basic understanding of the art and science, and using general trends and their understanding in daily activities. Dowsing, learning to use pendulum to get answers using the intuitive mind to reach into the cosmic consciousness.Music, playing the base in several bands in my younger days, composing songs. I still enjoy the music, but my technical ability is not what it used to be. I played piano, guitar, and base. I have enjoyed almost all styles of music, learning to distinguish the art from the kitsch. |
